Propane Burners.

Propane Burners.
These have been long awaited and these are manufactured by Moderustic for Aquatic Glassel. These are our new propane burners for fire pits with use with PROPANE. These are our FPPK models (fire pit propane kit) They are as follows: 18" pan with a 12" burner 24" pan with a 18" burner 30" pan with a 24" burner We can build any size, shape, material you can design or dream of. We are the only company in the world offering custom tailor made propane burners fit to your needs and or designs. Burners don't come with the copper pan.unless specified. The remote box has an electronic (battery) starter and a variable fuel valve. Propane must be mixed with air (air mixer valve/ venturi) to insure a clean bur without soot! If you burn straight propane you will experience black smoke/ soot and this is not good. We have worked on the development for several months now on these burners and they are now ready for you. The picture on the lower left is of a possibility for the new burners. You can mount these into any table. With this in mind when we designed these we wanted the customer to be able to build or design any base, table or fire pit to install a propane burner. The picture on the right is of the bottom side of the control box. The left picture is of the control box with the air mixer. The picture on the right is of the ring and base plate which prevents the propane from sinking. Below on the right are the thermo-coupler and electronic starter. The thermocouple is the safety switch which if the fire is blown out and leaving the thermocouple cold will shut your system off for safety reasons. Here are the first of our propane pan burner pictures and more details will follow. These have been replaced with a better and improved newer style burner. We will post in the next week or so the new pictures and details. We will be posting on the new generation of propane pan burners. These burners cone in 18", 24" and 30". When ordering please specify if the connector is on the left or right side. with remote (optional) The pictures of the remote control will follow in the days to follow. Our propane Fire Pit burners come in 2 sizes, 12", 18" and 24". The new propane burner shown is a 12" with an 18" base and these will be out in a few weeks. This is a 24" ring on a 30" base. The base is detached for remote locating. We are taking order for the burners as they are being built as ordered. Manufacturing time is about ten days and they ship the same day as of completed. The pan burner below is for a 2 sided fireplace and this pan is 25" x 45" and controlled from only one side. It is constructed from 16 gauge brushed stainless steel with 3" x 3" x 3" corner legs. The picture on the bottom left shows you the thermocouple and safety pilot light kit which are UL and CSA approved. This is one side of the two sided fireplace and we will post pictures when the glass is installed of both sides. he fire pit below has a 1/4" Clear, 1/2" Clear Base with Red Orange Topping, Emerald Green Topping and Light Sky Blue Topping. The was a basic wood burning fire pit purchased locally and converted with our fire pit propane kit (FPPK) The fire table below has a propane burner and is not configured correctly. That is why you will see soot (carbon monoxide) the black stuff on the glass. If you purchased a table from one of these clowns that have you connect a propane tank to a burner ring, you will have problems. We use all the proper safety valves and air mixers to insure a clean and safe burn. See our propane page. We are the only company manufacturing a propane burner that is safe and built correctly for these fire tables when you are using our glass. The glass used was Starfire and Pale Blue Topper. Since and after the install we did supply the correct burner and it is burning clean as it should be. As you can see after burning for about 10 minutes the soot is and will be an issue. Carbon monoxide IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU! Below is a 36" aluminum pan burner for propane with a 3" outside lip. These can be made to fit any fire pit, fire table of fire fit for natural gas or propane. We can build anything! This pan has a thermo-coupler for safety and air mixer built in to eliminate soot. The fireplace below has Bronze, Bronze Reflective, Ice, Gold and Yellow Amber Topper. This fireplace is in Shawano, Wisconsin at the Cotton Patch Restaurant. E mail Patti and tell here you saw her fireplace. Now for the after pictures! This was a custom propane burner which was under all of the glass! This is what Patti had to say: Hi Ed, Well, it's been about two weeks since I installed the new fireplace, and it is the talk of this sleepy little town. Because of the "Ice" on the top, it has been nicknamed the "Fire and Ice" fireplace. I just placed an order for a pound each of 1/4" Gold, Yellow Amber Topper and Clear Ice. I think it needs a smidgen more color, and since the Ice is the big feature, I decided to add a little more. I have to say, I didn't think I would like the ice, but it looks amazing! Thank you Ed and Jimmy for all of your help and hand holding over the past few months. I will take more pictures when I add the new products. Thanks again, Patti arnev@frontiernet.net The fireplace below is a propane burner, self installation with the 2" method, Starfire and Gold on top Above we have the old burner with a smaller flame pattern which we will change to a double burner in our tray propane pan burner A little bit of cleaning with a wire brush and 1200 degree paint We filled the bottom with pea gravel and the covered it with sand Then we installed the propane burner and filler it with pea gravel to the top of the burners You can see the pilot light and thermo-coupler exposed So there it is. A clean burning propane burner, 2" method, no soot, no smells, no carbon monoxide and it puts out a tremendous amount of heat. We sell the 2" method because it works and if anyone tries to tell you different, they need your money more than you do. We are the only company building propane burners for glass that don't soot or smell! These are our round ring burners with out the center hub and these can be made in any size in steel or stainless steel The pan below is a brushed aluminum pan with sculpted legs. This pan is for propane and now we offer a simple adapter to convert this to remote control from the back side (battery operated). The glass installed is a multi mix for the photo shoot only. The pan is 2" with 3" legs. This pan will be installed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico The fire pit below shows our FPPK (fire pit propane kit) a 30" base with a double 24" stainless steel burner. You will notice the igniter and thermo coupler (heat switch for safety). The base plate is to prevent propane from leaking into the fire pit below. The propane conversion was here in Southern California. Crista brought the bowl and we did the rest. Crista brought the top pan and lid and we installed a propane burner We installed one of our FPPK kits (fire pit propane kit) This is the table Crista built to hold the copper pan/ bowl The ventless burner below is 1 of 3 that were sent to Georgia. The glass that we tested was Multi Mix. We show the burner finished, with the burners exposed, burning and with glass, We will post the pictures of the finished fireplace when the customer send them to us to post. This is a propane ventless burner and these also are made in natural gas as well. Notice the stainless box tray underneath the upper pan. If you dream it, design it, think of it, we can build it as we are the innovators in the industry which seem to some how give licence for most to try to copy us and our products and designs. What is important that you know who we are! The vent less burner below is made of steel and there were actually 4 of these made. We covered the front and sides with 5" skirts. There are being installed in Georgia and as soon as they send pictures we will post them These pictures were taken just after the testing. This is a propane vent less burner and these are available in natural gas as well. The pictures below are of the same burner as above with Azurlite installed. These 4 ventless burners are being installed in Georgia. The skirts will hide the the valves and the remote control will be moved to the side of the fireplace. This was a vent less burner the customer sent to us for conversion and they asked for us to add a remote to all 4 vent less burners. The fire pit/ table is at the Roxbury Hotel and we will show you the progress here from beginning to end. This was a propane installation with our FPPK burner. The colors used were: 1/4" Starfire, 1/2" Starfire, Gold, Lime Green Topper, Pale Olive Green Topper, Olive Green Topper,a little bit of wood and tile and here you go! Above shows the framing and the gas line coming in. Below shows the pipe coming out of the floor and the thermo-coupler on the glass next to the igniter Roxbury Hotel, a cool fire pit! The propane vent less burner below shows where the sensor has to be and how it works. This is a stainless steel pan with Gold glass for the test burn. The 9 pictures below are of a steel propane ventless burner. We used the original burner and installed an air mixer under the pan to insure a clean burn. As you will see the thermo-coupler, pilot light and ODS (oxygen depletion sensor are intact). These pans can be made in any shape or material. What ever burner you purchase with or without remote control, we can convert it for you. Propane or natural gas, vented, direct vent or vent less as shown. The flat pan below has a propane burner installed for a fire pit. These are made in any size, shape or burn pattern. The one shown below is an electronic ignition control and these can be adapted with manual ignition as well. This was build for a designer in New York and placed on a shelf of the fireplace. The pan burner below is a stainless steel/ propane pan for outdoors and we have installed an electronic ignition under the pan. These can also be made for natural gas. The fireplace below is in San Diego, California and the colors used were: Cobalt Blue Topper Steel Blue Topper Cranberry Pink Topping Purple Topper Lilac Topper Deep Royal Topping Clear Base Solex and Solex Reflective Azurlite and Azurlite Reflective Blue Green and Blue Green Reflective and a little bit of Ice Ice Ice on top wow! The end pictures show that the burner was too close the wall which was an easy fix by moving the burner forward. This is where is went a little bit wrong, oops. We just had them move the burner forward and now its fine and the back wall was repainted. The fire pit below is a failed attempt of a propane conversion without our help in the beginning. You can't just burn propane! If you try this, this is what it will look like. You need to calibrate the amount of air to propane or it will back fire, burn black or explode! We recommend a thermo coupler, air mixer/ venturi along with several other important factors. We won't tell you who tried this but we will tell you we did fix the issue and now the customer is very happy. We did use Azurlite with Azurlite Reflective. The fireplace below is a propane pan burner with a lava rock fill. You don't want to crush your own lava rock because of the time. You can use larger lava around the edges of the pan but you will want to use crushed lava in the pan up to the surface of the burners. The glass use in this fireplace was a Ford Blue base with Ford Blue Reflective on top. Topped with Clear Pyrite and Amber accents. The install went very well except for the rock crushing episode. This new product will allow you to convert any table into a fire table. We can build these with a natural gas burner or even a propane burner. We can add fibre optics, water, fire, Fire Stones, Fire Balls, Fire Shapes, lava, sand, glass or anything else you can dream of. These are the first pictures of these bowl which come in dozens of sizes. The glass that was used in this bowl was Dark Red Orange Topper and Yellow Amber Topper. This bowl was set up with one of our 12" FPPK propane burners. We will be posting our bowl sizes in standard and as for custom we can make anything. We will also be posting dozens of pictures of the other projects as we have time, like we didn't post enough already? The fire pit below has a "FPPK" propane burner installed and the burners were exchanged out for stainless steel. If you were to leave the steel burners in you will eventually have rust pouring out of your fire pit onto the patio which will not look very attractive! The glass used was 1/2" Gray and Ford Blue. The controls were inside the bottom housing, nice fire pit but almost a big oops. nice design. below you can see where the controls were to be mounted above you can see the steel ready to rust and make a mess. Remember you get what you pay for. The burner below has a 300,000 BTU controller, 36" triple ring mounted on a 48" aluminum base plate for a fire pit in San Diego. These can be adapted for natural gas or propane with up to a 96" lead pilot light and igniter. The propane burner below was made to inset flush to the floor with a remote control underneath the pan. The pan sat 5" below the surface so the glass would appear to be just above the surface. The outer ring was bolted down to keep the glass from falling underneath the burner in the event you ever had to service the burner or remote control. The tower you see is actually for the air mixer to draft fresh air to the propane before it burns. As you can see we drilled it to look like a ribbon burner. This is what was ordered by the customer. The fireplace below is in Mexico where we seem to be sending more and more propane burners and glass for the new homes being built there. The fireplace below has a Black base glass with Ice Ice Ice on top of one of our propane pan burners. Which later a remote control was added by the custom that we sent to them. The fireplace below was installed by the customer (Kim Clark) with a remote control, propane burner manufactured by us and topped with Starfire. The fireplace was transformed form an ordinary to work of art, nice job! The picture below has the burner being tested This is the remote control on the lower right with the pilot light assembly We now have fire! 24" 1/2 round triple stainless steel pipe 304 stainless steel pipe The burner below is a propane manual valve with a pilot light. this burner is mounted on a 60" x 30" 1/2 round stainless steel plate which is not included as standard but an option. The burner itself is a #304 stainless steel 1/2" pipe triple ring burner and can be used for propane or natural gas. The fireplace below in in Lakeland, Florida and was installed by John Addison for his customer. The fireplace has one of our propane pan burners with a remote control. We built a brushed aluminum surround with out the inner glass per the customer request. The glass that was used was a Gray Base glass with Black and Copper Ruby Red on top. As you can see the fireplace was not much to look at until we added our touch. You be the judge, We think it turned out wonderful! The fireplace below belongs to Ross Barnett in Florida. This was a ventless propane installation. Ross built a front wave design and we built a special wedge pan with the controls underneath. This is a remote control ventless burner. Great job Ross! The glass that was uses was: Black and Black Reflective Gray and Gray Reflective Aquamarine Topper Copper Blue Topper Light Blue Tubes Cobalt Blue Topper Pale Cobalt Blue Topper and here are the before and after pictures. Above is before the wave and below is the wave before out ventless burner was installed. What makes us different from anyone else is that we allow you to exercise your imagination. If you see it, dream it, draw it, imagine it we can build it for you. Ross saw what we did for other customers and he came up with this very cool design for us to build for his family room, thanks Ross! The fireplace below is a propane fireplace with a propane burner and remote control. We used a clear base with Starfire on top. Then we added: Medium Amber Topping, Yellow Amber Topper, Steel Blue Topper, Dark Red Orange Topper over the base glass. The controls were covered after the install was finished. If you look closely you can see the pilot light assembly. The round pan below is a propane pan with electronic ignition. This is a 36" aluminum pan with a 2" lip all around The two pans below are stainless steel and are propane fueled with 415,000 BTU electronic ignitions each. The pictures below will show you how to install a propane burner and valve in your fire pit without drilling a hole in the side of your fire pit with our FPPK (fire pit propane kit). This was install in Calabasas California with Bronze and Bronze Reflective on top. The fire pit has 10" solid sides which made this a good candidate for the FPPK to be installed on the inside wall. This is a propane fire pit and we do calibrate every valve to every ring we install to eliminate back flow and any problems or issues that may happen. We also install the proper air mixer to insure a clean burn as we eliminate the soot know to be produced by propane. If you have a propane fire pit you know what I am talking about. The fire pit below is in the Palace of Qatar and this was commissioned for the King of Qatar. The fire pit is a propane/ butane fueled fire pit and it was installed by Gasco of Qatar. They didn't understand the glass so they opted to use lava rock. Now they (the King) have ordered the glass and if we can get the pictures we will post them. We did propane for the King and there are no issues! Awesome marble! The fire pit below belongs to Mike DeVito in Northern California. When I saw his idea I was excited to help him create something new and wonderful. He took a very old mining cart in his front yard and we helped him convert it to a propane burning fire pit! Turned out pretty cool! Next he is getting a fire pit cover made to cover it from debris and who else knows what. We use a FPPK (fire pit propane kit) with valves, thermo coupler, pilot light and air mixer. The glass that was use is: Starfire base glass over a bed of crushed lava rock, Yellow Amber Topper Steel Blue Topper Turquoise Blue Topper Green Tubes Copper Ruby Red Topper Ice Ice Ice and of course our Diamonds in Clear, Pink, Amber and Blue. I think this is one really nice idea! It is all supplied by this 20 lb propane tank Here is the mining cart with the base plate installed with the burners Here you see the controls, air mixer and thermo coupler and pilot light lines under the base plate You can use a larger (3/4", 1" lava) as a base under our 1/4" crushed lava as this will save you a few dollars. Now we pour on the crushed lava to keep the glass from sinking into the larger lava. Add some Starfire Splash a few colors Have your spouse light it in case something should go wrong! (Just Kidding) Again here are the first pictures we saw of the mining cart. Great Idea! Mike, you did a great job! The fireplace below is a propane fireplace with a Black Base and Clear Diamonds on top. We built a pan to hold the glass with out the legs and covered/ protected the burner controls inside of the pan. The controls are on the right side and they are shielded and buried under the glass. The customer was going to finish the front of the steel pan after he installed it. Our products do not require any certification from the AGA, CSA or UL as it is considered a stand-alone product by these agencies. We are told that we would need a certification if sand and or lava rock would need certification. The agencies are franchise operations and they are privately owned and they are not a government agency. These agencies are hired for mass production testing and AGA, CSA and or UL do not certify custom one of a kind projects. Custom burners need no certification as this only applies to production equipment. Just so you can understand that a certification costs about $15,000.00 and certification was developed for production/ mass production to assure quality. Any parts that would normally need AGA or UL do in fact have these approvals. Parts with function need and should have some sort of approval. The pan burners we sell that do have UL, CSA and or any other listings are produced by other companies. The custom pan burners that we produce are just that, custom. Therefore do not require UL, CSA and or any other agency listings as these are custom. The parts that we use to build these pans are UL, CSA listed as they should be. We would never use any “Third World Country” or any unlisted, untested parts to build any products and or parts to endanger any product performance what so ever. The fire pit below was built by Charlie Helms in North Carolina using our FPPK (fire pit propane kit) burner. This is a propane fire pit with a lava filler. Charlie is now ready to order the glass. Check it out, great job Charlie! The fire pit is covered to protect it from whatever may fall. Great job! The fire pit below was build by Mike Phillips ( a customer). First he ran a propane line to the fire pit area and then blocked his fire pit into shape. We use a FPPK (fire pit propane kit) in an aluminum pan 24" x 24" with a double 18" double stainless steel ring.The glass that was used was a Gray base and Gray Reflective on top to add sparkle. Below you can see the placement of the thermo coupler and safety pilot light used for propane. Below on the right side the controls were installed in the bricks. The fireplace below was installed with a dual battery operated 100,000 BTU propane electronic ignition system. Each capable of 100,000 BTU's of fire. The first pictures show what we had to work with and how it progressed. The glass that was used was Starfire, Gold and Ice Ice Ice. If this was in your house you would say NASTY! Burning wood and logs is just nasty and dirty! True story! Above you can see the soot that come out of the fireplace and and leaves your house smelling so carbon monoxide fresh! YUCK! Add a bit of lime stone. A few pieces of copper. Below you can see the sand bed and the ignition box we built. Below are the two vent we installed for the air mixers inside of the ignition systems. and here we are finished. Now isn't that much better litter feller? Modern times call for modern measures! I guess that's why we are Moderustic! The fire pit below is in San Francisco California. They use one of out FPPK units. Here you can see the simple construction. A local artist made the glass inlay top. Very cool! We supplied the FPPK and the Clear glass The fire table below was built by Christina "Stina" in the San Francisco area. With a little ambition, imagination and our help, she now has one very nice fire table. Here is where it started. She made a template of the pan and where the mounting tabs would be located. Then we built the aluminum pan and propane burner for Stina to install. Below is how the teak table started. We just brought it into the future. Below the pan was installed with Galaxy Green base glass. Below you can see the top installed and what a difference. Below is her wonderfully finished project, Great job Stina! The fire pit below was built by Scott Spector in Florida. He started with an FPPK 30 which includes a 30" base plate and a double 24" stainless steel ring. Here we go from the beginning: The propane line was run/ installed under the pavers. The colors that were used are 1/2" Clear base, Black Magic in the center, Clear Diamonds, Cobalt Blue Topper, Clear Topper, Cobalt Blue Light Topper and our FPPK 30". That is our 30" propane burner. You can see the actual burner above burning before shipment and installation. We don't have any pictures of the fire pit burning at Scott's but he did tel us that when he fired it up again he would try to send us a few pictures. Thanks Scott. The burner below is one of our FPPK's (fire pit propane kit). With this FPPK we set it up for Black Magic! This was table tested for the pictures. Hopefully the customer will send us pictures after and during installation. We first sent these pictures for the customers approval. Here you go! The pan below belongs to Scott Spector and he finally installed the fire pit in his back yard, WOW, one really nice backyard! This is one of our propane pan burner with slight modifications. As you can see around the lower edges it was leaking and yes we did fix this. he next Wine Barrel Fire Pit was built be Shaun Ibe. We supplied all of the parts, knowledge base and Shaun built one really nice Wine Barrel Fire pit! We will explain as we move forward Shaun used up all of his old corks to line the top with and then he had a piece of glass made to cover the corks. Be sure you have the top made with tempered glass! We supply you with creativity, parts, support, imagination and give you license to be creative on your own, after all, that's what we do and who we are! (You don't!) These are Air Mixers, Venturis Carburetors. These like a carburetor on any engine act as the air fuel mixture governor. Have you ever been behind an older car that smells funny? Wrong air mixture! Bad mechanic! The air mixers have to be calibrated not only to the valving but the burner as well. We have been building propane burners for several years now and we have never had an issue with any configuration that we have built, ever. It's the same as porting an engine for proper air flow. If you just STICK one of these on your burner then you may be giving us a call soon enough. Here are a few pictures of the 1/2" and 3/4" air mixers, (40,000 to 400,000 btu mixers). If you attach it and create back pressure, you will have a fire or an explosion, guaranteed. We are not trying to frighten you but to make you aware. We believe in safety first and we don't build systems without thermo couples and or pilot light systems, ever! As you may have of seen on our "How Not To Do It Page" they still screw up no matter how hard they try. We are here only to help!

Shipping has become an issue so all orders will and must be signed for. No package will be left at your door unless you sign for it. This is called an indirect or direct signature request. It is also refereed to as a Signature service. If a package or packages are left at your door per your request, you will be the responsible party.
All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase with exceptions only by management
Returned products must be unused and/or unmixed
Returned products must be packaged well to avoid damage in transit, or you will be responsible for the damage
Returned products that are damaged in transit will not be able to be refunded
Refunds will be made towards product cost only
Refunds will not be given for non-product labor costs (consulting fees, installation fees, labor, shipping etc.)
